Actions Psilonaut take place in a wild forest wonderland filled with countless mushrooms, which the main character consumes and continues on his way. Psilocybin mushrooms cause him to experience psychedelic experiences and also breed plants so much that he remains in a strange state forever. Creating hybrid mushrooms allows him to experience new psychedelic powers and reach new sensations.

In the adventure, the player will have to explore a large area, grow and collect hallucinogenic mushrooms. The gameplay is presented in the form of a walking simulator with environmental exploration. In a wild valley, the central character collects special plants, highlighted with a marker. He combines them or immediately uses them, which quickly changes the appearance of the environment and his inner feelings.

The gamer has many choices about where to go, what mushrooms to combine and eat. The actions taken create the world around us. Regions for travel include plains, deserts and vast forests.
