Pulsarius is an old-school sci-fi shooter, the events of which unfold in the distant future and tell the story of the confrontation between a brave pilot and an aggressive race of aliens. While patrolling a segment of the galaxy, the main character catches a signal for help that comes from the Pulsarius system. According to the information available to the protagonist, there are several colonies of earthlings there. Once there, the hero sees that the settlements are under attack from aliens unknown to mankind.

With only one combat spaceship at his disposal, the brave pilot must confront an entire armada led by powerful bosses. In total, Pulsarius has 12 long levels with a dynamic system of changing difficulty. The artificial intelligence of opponents constantly adapts to the player and behaves depending on the effectiveness of his actions. Thus, the shooter is ideal for both beginners and professional connoisseurs of the genre.

As for the gameplay, the user moves forward without stopping and encounters more numerous enemies along the way. The aliens are constantly firing at the ship, and therefore the pilot must skillfully dodge projectiles and also fire back shots. There are a total of 10 types of opponents – each with unique characteristics and appearance. At the end of each level, the gamer is also required to engage in battle with a strong boss, who has higher characteristics than ordinary enemies.
