Quartett! transfers to the famous Magnolia Music Institute, which is considered the most prestigious in the country. The best young talents come here every year to study. They have all the amenities – from a huge variety of instruments to a comfortable hostel. The students are exclusively children from wealthy families who can afford huge expenses. The main character, Phil Junhers, arrives here and immediately becomes a member of a local musical quartet.

Besides him, there are three wonderful students on the team:

• Charlotte – plays string instruments and is not particularly keen on entering into romantic relationships;
• Juni – has an extremely cheerful character and holds a viola in her hands;
• Lee is a very quiet and sometimes even uptight beauty, showing real skill on the cello.

The narrative is divided into several chapters, including preparations for a major festival, participation in it and the subsequent life of the group. As a member of the quartet, the protagonist must do everything possible within 84 days to prepare the team for the competition.
