Quinterra tells the story of a magical world in which you can take part in all sorts of confrontations between fantastic monsters and creatures. The user can try to conquer 5 separate territories, each of which differs in visual design, as well as terrain features. The playing areas are located on floating islands, which are divided into separate areas. The battlefield itself is divided into hexagonal cells, within each of which you can independently place a building or combat unit. During the battle, it will be possible to install additional fighters and capture territories to defeat the enemy. Actions in battles can be performed over successive turns, one at a time.

In Quinterra, the individual missions combine to form a storyline that spans five areas. Between successive missions you will be able to visit the in-game store. There you can purchase additional pieces of equipment using a special currency that you can earn for victories over your opponents. At the beginning of each playthrough, you can choose one main character, who differ in their set of skills, battle tactics and fighters available for use. As you develop, you will be able to upgrade new abilities, with the help of which you can change the course of the confrontation. It will also be possible to purchase and purchase new types of soldiers to make the army more diverse and capable of performing a greater number of tasks.
