RACE 07 is a sports racing simulator. It allows participation in the 2006 and 2007 seasons of the FIA ​​World Touring Car Cup. This is a sequel. It differs from its predecessor primarily in its low entry threshold. In a more arcade-like sequel, the developers changed the physics, making it easier for players to control vehicles when cornering. You can understand and increase the level of complexity. In addition, the developers have improved the graphics. Artificial intelligence has been improved, but the bots began to behave more aggressively. The damage system remained almost the same.

The project is also known by the longer name RACE 07: WTCC Championship. Its fleet of vehicles includes 300 cars from real manufacturers. True, among them there are many variations of the same models. Transport is divided into 9 classes. You can control cars through the keyboard or from the steering wheel. Gamepads are also supported. You can turn the driving assistance on or off.

There are a total of 32 tracks in the game. They are made based on real (and existing) tracks. Among them there are new locations: Pau, Zandvoort, Porto, Anderstorp. They only hold circuit races. Cars are allowed to be tuned before the race. For example: change the stability of the shock absorbers, adjust the tire pressure, adjust the suspension, and so on. The racers of varying degrees of fame featured here were also taken from the real world. There is single and online multiplayer. It is possible to switch the camera.
