RAGE 2 will take the gamer to a post-apocalyptic world where there are no laws and orders. The open and expansive world allows you to freely travel through locations, explore the environment, fight enemies and complete side quests. The planet collided with a huge asteroid that destroyed more than 80% of the population and other inhabitants. Every day there are fewer survivors due to lack of resources and chaos occurring in residential areas.

Gangs roam the area, killing people and taking useful materials. The government, instead of helping, is trying to gain more power and enrich its circle. The player takes control of the Wasteland's last ranger, Walker. A government organization took his home away from him in an attempt to maintain power. The main character decides to join the war for justice and freedom. Alone and sometimes with partners, he will fight with opponents and break through to targets.

The gameplay is presented in the form of a first-person shooter. The gamer can drive conventional and combat vehicles. The open world is filled with side quests, minor characters and hidden locations. Shots never stop anywhere, and firefights can start anywhere on the map. The user can control trucks, gyroplanes, cars and much more. On the way you will have to face bloodthirsty monsters, mutants and crazy gangs.
