IN Railroader you find yourself in the heart of a busy railroad in transitional Appalachia. It has a crucial role to play in maintaining communications between populated areas and transporting goods. Whether it's switching cars in industrial plants, operating local passenger trains or transporting freight, the process offers a unique and hands-on railway adventure.

Railroader's signature feature is its first-person perspective, which allows you to get up close and personal with the vehicles. You'll walk alongside the train to connect the brake line, climb into the cab, and be able to operate the throttle, reverse, brake strut, and whistle. If you prefer a different view, you can even follow the car with a flying/following camera or get a bird's eye view of your shift work.

The project supports both single-player and multiplayer modes, which allows you to operate the railway alone or together with friends. The gameplay emphasizes realism, paying attention to details such as slacks, brake lines, and various customizable lights to create an authentic railroad feel. The dynamic process is exciting as you solve problems such as managing a passenger train on a schedule, switching production facilities, and classifying cars in a warehouse.
