In a puzzle game Railway Islands – Puzzle the gamer creates railways with trains running through a series of islands. It is necessary to connect the tracks in such a way that transport reaches its destinations without any interference and delivers goods to local residents. The project features 50 stages with different climates corresponding to the seasons. Green spring levels, blooming summer forests, orange autumn lands and snow covered winter stages. Control is carried out using the mouse, but the keyboard can be used to restart the location, zoom in or out.

The main gameplay of the game is as follows – the gamer changes sections of the island, hexagonal tiles, thus paving the way for the train. At first, the tasks will be simple and straightforward so that beginners can get comfortable with the mechanics. But at later levels there are obstacles that can cause an accident or completely close the road to transport. Having found a way to drive the car safely, the gamer wins and can subsequently return to the already solved puzzle again.

Railway Islands – Puzzle has a main, story campaign and map editor. The latter gives gamers the opportunity to create their own islands and puzzles, defining their appearance and set of obstacles. The graphics are minimalistic, low-poly. Also, the user can easily adjust the volume level of the background soundtrack at their discretion.
