IN Rain World You have to control a creature that looks like a cross between a slug and a cat. To survive you need to get food. Finding food is difficult because all the plants have died, the sun no longer shines, and instead of water there are puddles of toxic liquid on the streets. You can eat jellyfish or blue grains, which become edible only if you temporarily put them in water.

The hero wanders through an apocalyptic world where all of humanity has long been destroyed. Only the predatory monsters remained. To protect against them, there is a spear in the arsenal. Much more dangerous are the constant torrential acid rains that destroy all living things. When it starts to rain, you need to find reliable shelter as quickly as possible. The slugcat's goal is to find his lost family. She lives in a large tree behind an industrial area.

The main character's only assistant is a small white flying insect. In Rain World, the world is divided into biomes, and those, in turn, into separate locations. On the way you will meet huge monsters, hundreds of times larger than the protagonist in size. It is impossible to destroy them with a spear, so the slugcat is saved by his cunning and ingenuity. On the way to the family, the character encounters a whole squad of inhabitants armed with spears. They immediately rush at the hero, leaving no chance for battle. It is impossible to run away or hide from them. You need to use your logic skills to find a way to make friends with the tribe of survivors.
