Red Alert 2: REBORN – Community Version is a global modification to the original game, reworking many of its elements. The main goal of the creators of the mod was to make the old project suitable for modern gamers and computers. First of all, for this they rewrote the artificial intelligence. The developers made the AI ​​smart enough so that mobs could compete on equal terms even with experienced gamers. But at the same time deprived of cheating abilities so that the competition was fair.

In addition, 9 new countries were implemented in Red Alert 2: REBORN — Community Version. Like the classic trio of the USSR, USA and Japan, they have their own troops, including elite fighters and weapons of mass destruction. These factions also take an active part in the main campaign of the modification. But whether they will be able to conquer the whole world or will be overtaken by more nimble competitors depends on the skills of the user.

Each playable nation has its own strengths and weaknesses. Some nations focus on rapid development of military technology and close combat troops. Others develop evenly, which means they can be tailored to any playstyle. The most powerful fighters are capable of single-handedly destroying parts of enemy armies, but relying only on brute force is a mistake.
