Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 is a tactical shooter with a first-person view. The game is made in the setting of the Second World War. The main feature of the project is realism. An accurate hit from an enemy bullet almost always leads to death. If it hits the hand, the hero will drop the barrel. If a character receives a gunshot wound to the leg, his movement speed will decrease.

The arsenal includes 28 types of weapons. The game does not have a computer sight, so you can’t shoot from the hip like in other shooters. In Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45, you need to aim at enemies through the front sight of the weapon. It is important to consider ballistics and recoil. You won't be able to effectively run around with a machine gun at the ready and shoot. To fire normally, you need to set it to the firing position. They also allow you to request an artillery strike. To do this, you need to lean out of cover, take out binoculars and use it to mark the point for attack. These and other nuances force you to behave carefully and think through your actions in advance.

The battles in the title take place on the Eastern Front. More than a dozen maps are available, based on real-life places. Battles take place at different times of the year and day. You can move around locations not only on foot. There are 14 types of military equipment, including tanks. The project is designed for battles between users online. For single player fans there is the opportunity to play with bots. The action supports user modifications.
