The story takes place in the distant year 2150, when humanity has conquered space and, with the help of hyperspace engines, makes jumps from one system to another on starships. People are divided into two camps: those who explore the remote corners of space in search of a better life, and those who remain to live on Earth. All this time, the USA and the USSR are waging an irreconcilable war in the vastness of space.
