Rei – a visual novel set in a school setting with supernatural elements. The story features a single romantic lead and over 9,000 words of dialogue. The player is able to make choices that affect the future of the plot. Depending on the decisions, not only the protagonist's life, locations, and relationships change, but also the ending of the story.

Possible endings in the novel Rei:

• The canonical one is “Fate”, which appears if the user chooses the “don't move” action on Thursday.
• Exchange – offers the protagonist to lose something dear to get what he wants. It is necessary to stop the person on Thursday.
• “Empty” is a good ending to the storyline, but it requires 4 relationship points with Living Rey and 3 points with the Ghost Girl.
• “Memory” – relationship points are required with both the ghost and the real girl.

By making choices during dialogues, the gamer receives points that affect the relationship between the main character and the secondary character. Points are needed to unlock additional content and the ability to earn other endings. Each conversation has three possible answers. An incorrect action does not bring points, the rest will give one point each.
