Residual takes users into the image of a lonely traveler who finds himself in a system of previously unexplored planets. His ship crashes on one of these celestial bodies, where, in addition to a huge number of hostile aliens, there are a lot of secrets. It would seem that the situation is disgusting, but in reality everything is not so bad. The technologies of the local inhabitants are on a completely different level, and the hero can use them to repair the ship and successfully evacuate. However, to pull this off, you need to provide yourself with everything you need for exploration and survival.

Features of the Residual project:

• Procedural generation of levels – all locations to be visited during the study are generated randomly, throwing players into new conditions over and over again.
• A faithful assistant – a personal bot will constantly accompany the main character, giving hints regarding the use of items and the implementation of certain mechanics.
• No fights or skirmishes – despite the fact that the planet is inhabited by third-party creatures, the hero will not have to meet them. Much more problems will come from natural factors.

In this aspect, everything also depends on how the world will be formed. If a planet (and there are only about 1000 of them) gets too close to the sun, this entails corresponding climate changes. Abnormal heat, hurricane winds and minimal vegetation will create some problems. So, you will either have to constantly monitor water supplies, or try to move underground, avoiding direct rays of the sun. If the area is covered with ice, more attention should be paid to heating using available resources.
