In a shooter Resistance: Fall of Man the gamer will play the role of an American soldier sent to the war for Great Britain. Futuristic and modern weapons are available in the passage, as well as access to combat vehicles equipped with guns and durable armor. In story mode, the main character uses classic explosives or hedgehog grenades, which release metal needles after exploding.

The campaign begins with an introductory video. The user will have to go through 30 chapters, moving through the plot and getting closer to the liberation of Great Britain. The central character gains experience and improves his skills by pumping up new abilities, improving characteristics and acquiring powerful weapons. Multiplayer mode is supported with matches of up to 40 participants on the server at the same time. Players are divided into two teams: humans and chimeras.

Multiplayer includes ranked matches that affect the user's rank, which is used to match allies and opponents. There is co-op play on one split screen. In online battles, participants will have to complete tasks such as capturing control points, killing all opponents, or defending territory. Vehicles appear on the map in the form of a buggy and a tank, but in limited quantities. Players can create clans or custom matches.
