Resonant Blade transfers to the distant planet Terra, which has been developing at an unprecedented speed for several decades. However, rapid industrial progress gradually made the atmosphere toxic and unsuitable for human life. Then a well-known corporation decided to create AI that would help stop the process of destruction and protect the Terrans from death. This is how massive bio-domes appeared that were supposed to cover cities and create a favorable atmosphere inside.

But soon the program changed its usual name to “Dark Synths” and rebelled against its creators. In Resonant Blade, the player will become a former scientist named Atlas, who has now given up what he loved and armed himself to enter the battle. Since artificial intelligence quickly adapts to most of the guns familiar to the inhabitants of the planet, engineers created the Resonant Blade. With it, the user will be able to control the energy of sound to confuse the Synths' defenses.

The gamer will advance through the levels, starting fierce battles with everyone he meets along the way. In addition to standard parries and dashes, the hero will combine modulated energy into combinations, triads, to simultaneously deliver devastating attacks and increase his own defense. Terra will open up many new areas for the player to explore, where they will need to solve puzzles in order to move forward and find sound crystals to modify weapons.
