IN Robonauts the player will take control of Robonaut, traveling through different worlds and fighting various enemies. The passage consists of successive levels. Each location has a special hatch, which is required for sending to the next zone. Access to the exit opens if the user has destroyed all enemies in the area.

The robot astronaut has several unique skills and features. He is able to switch gravity to move between different planets above and below the protagonist. Tactical mode pauses gameplay and displays the map. The gamer can see all unexplored areas, find out where opponents or useful objects are located. It also helps to discover the path leading to the exit gateway.

The project includes a single-player campaign and a local co-op mode for 2 participants who will have to save the galaxy from deadly creatures attacking different planets. The surrounding events unfold constantly and require the gamer to react quickly. However, you can explore the story and environment at your own pace. There are 12 planetary regions with different inhabitants, difficulty of passage, puzzles and design. There are 2 difficulty levels: classic and hardcore.
