Rogue Legacy – a two-dimensional platformer with a procedurally generated world and levels. The player takes control of an already created character. If the ward dies, then the world is created in a new way again. The hero also loses his characteristics and gains other strengths and weaknesses. The process is saved, like things and a built camp. To complete the passage, you will need to eliminate 5 main bosses.

Battles take place at the levels, and the gamer earns gold, armor, weapons and consumables. The environment includes many breakable objects and hidden places to explore. There are 4 biomes in Rogue Legacy: Dungeon, Tower, Forest and Castle. Each region has a different difficulty level, enemies and bosses. The protagonist leaves descendants, and after death you can choose 1 of 3 new characters. The heirs are completely different and have their own skills.

Heroes receive a class and a main spell. Many of them will get negative effects like dementia, Alzheimer's disease, vision problems, disability and many more. This will affect the process, characterization and other elements of the passage. The collected gold remains after death, and the money is needed to modernize future soldiers. Runes give the ward a certain ability. To get to the rune, you need to find a magic chest in a secret room and complete the quest.

Drawings are rare things that allow you to discover knowledge in crafting and create equipment from various ingredients. Weapons, amulets and armor will increase the hero's attack, defense, mana and health. At the entrance to the castle (hostile location) there are 3 NPCs: an architect, a sorceress and a blacksmith. From them you can purchase helmets, bibs, leggings, cloaks, hang runes, or restore the previous game card in exchange for 40% of the available gold.
