RUINER – a cybernetic shooter and action game in one bottle, seasoned with a role-playing component. It was 2091 in the isometric world, giant corporations united and forced everyone to live by their own rules. The streets are in chaos and violence, and the implants have become so widespread that it is difficult to find a single person who has not been upgraded. At this time, an unpleasant incident happened – the brother of the main character was kidnapped. Someone made a terrible mistake, because at that time they still didn’t know who our protagonist was. Enlisting the help of an anonymous hacker, he goes to the very heart of hell to rescue his brother.

In RUINER, players will have to take control of a cyborg whose brakes have completely failed due to recent events. It's not that he liked people before, but now the situation has worsened. The arsenal contains a good gentleman's set: a pipe and a light machine gun, but no one forbids taking away guns from the vanquished and buying a new one for yourself. Also in the trading shops there is a selection of some improvements and mods for both the character and his weapons. The trick lies in the skills, because a pumped-up body can surprise even the most seasoned mercenaries from the enemy’s formation. The main skills that will help you out in difficult scenes are dodging and dashing, without them it’s like having no hands, because at the slightest confusion the bullets reach their target. It’s a little easier with enemies: they all have their own implants and fighting style. Some wave bladed weapons, others shoot quite accurately from firearms. Although the plot is relatively short, the dynamics of the passage smooth out this drawback. Difficulties also arise during fights with bosses, like tanks on legs. Overall, this is an excellent action movie with driving music and quick slaughter of crowds of the system’s henchmen.
