Ruins is a challenging challenge in a retro pixel style, in which the player will meet many unique characters and learn the history of this world. Basically, the user will need to solve puzzles, help NPCs with small missions, look for items and fight a lot. Each location has its own unique enemies that require new strategies.

The main character is an ordinary boy who fell asleep in his bed and suddenly woke up in a completely different, fantasy world. What exactly brought him here and whether it was a wonderful dream remains to be seen. But for now, the pronounced pain from opponents’ blows increasingly makes one doubt that this is all unrealistic. To find at least some information, the protagonist looks for a local sorcerer who understands such rituals. He confirms that the guy arrived from another dimension, and in order to return home, he will have to find 3 magical artifacts scattered throughout the kingdom. Now he has no choice but to go on a dangerous journey.

There are about 80 characters in Ruins, each of which will definitely play some role in the development of the story. They have a well-developed biography behind them, which allows them to feel love or, conversely, hatred for a certain person. But it’s always worth remembering that the world is not clearly divided into black and white, and it’s worth first delving into the motivations of some before blaming them.
