Hero Running Rogue decided to play with death itself, and what came out of it remains for the user to find out. The roguelike contains elements of parkour; there is a lot of evil spirits that you have to fight with the help of your iron fist and magic gloves. It also offers dynamic battles, complete freedom of movement, randomly generated levels, and a lot of upgrades and skills.

The thief is the main character who often likes to steal other people's things. One day a guy couldn’t resist and stole a valuable artifact from death – the gloves of time. A mere mortal failed to cope with the power of the relic, so he ends up in the prison of souls. Now the protagonist needs to get to the top of the tower and engage in a fight with death in order to regain his human life. There are three locations proposed here that make up the fortress – these are gardens, limbo and a dungeon, designed in different settings and with separate sets of obstacles, dangers, opponents and bosses. Levels are generated randomly, so the type of enemies, traps and obstacles changes with each playthrough. Here it is important to go through each level as quickly as possible, dealing with opponents in order to replenish your health, which also leads to dynamic combat. During fights, you need to move quickly, attack and block in a split second. At each of the levels, the user himself makes decisions about further actions – running ahead and destroying everyone who stands in the way, or trying to find escape options, using the features of all objects located in the environment and parkour capabilities, for example, climbing ledges, sliding on the floor, jumping and running along the walls.
