Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin tells the story of a harvest goddess named Sakuna. At one point, she is expelled from her home in the sky, after which she finds herself on an island inhabited by demons. As the daughter of a warrior god and a harvest goddess, she must prove her status by battling numerous opponents using an entire arsenal of techniques and skills. In addition, she needs to regularly replenish her energy reserves, using rice as her main source of strength. In this lost place, her allies will be her protector Tama, as well as a group of outcast people. Having united, they will make every effort to expel the demons from the island.

In terms of gameplay, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin offers several main types of activities. First of all, these are battles with monsters.
