Sakura Gamer – an erotic and comedic visual novel that tells the story of a group of girls trying to make their own game. The gameplay is fairly standard for games of this genre. The user can choose different answers and actions, determining the further development of the plot and the relationships between the characters. Depending on the player's decisions, the main characters can fall in love with each other and create a hit – or be left with broken hopes.

Sakura Gamer features the following heroines:

• Sayo – aka Nekomihi. The protagonist, a very quiet and shy girl with white hair, glasses and a hoodie with cat ears. As a child, she was a dreamy and energetic child, and her cherished dream was to create her own novel. Now Nekomihi is a person tired of her hateful job, who is skeptical about her former dream. A programmer, she makes a living by repairing computers.
• Chika – aka Clover. Nekomiha's best friend and her complete opposite – a very energetic and open woman. Despite the fact that she works as an elementary school teacher, she loves revealing outfits and cosplay. A gifted self-taught musician.
• Yuki is an old acquaintance of Nekomihi. She grew up at a Shinto shrine, but is not a quiet, devout girl, no. Yuki is even more uninhibited and restless than Clover, so Nekomihi is wary of her at first. A talented artist.
