Salt and Sanctuary is a dark fantasy in which the player will have to travel across an unknown island. The hero can use a variety of melee and ranged weapons, combined attacks, and magic against them.

The world is mired in wars that constantly shake the earth. The main character is a bodyguard who accompanies the princess on a sea voyage. Her marriage to another ruler will help break the vicious circle and finally give everyone the long-awaited peace and quiet. But during the journey they fail. They are attacked by a kraken and, despite the protagonist’s courage and efforts, he still sinks the ship. The man survives because he is washed up by the waves on an unknown island. As it turned out, this was the very place where he was supposed to deliver the girl. It is ruled by the Nameless Deity, who will not forgive such a mistake and is ready to do anything to take revenge.

In Salt and Sanctuary, the main resource is salt. With it, you can pump up your skills, improve your character and his weapons. If the hero dies, he is reborn at the control point; if he does this twice in a row, then he also additionally loses all the accumulated currency, so you should not save it for too long. After all, losing a small amount is much less offensive due to an accidental mistake.
