Sand: A Superfluous Game – a survival simulator in the conditions of post-apocalyptic wastelands. Almost a thousand years ago, an asteroid crashed to Earth, causing massive cataclysms that destroyed human civilization. Since then, most people have died out, and the remains are settling in the barren lands that were once Alaska. However, the asteroid not only destroyed the old world, but also gave impetus to the development of a new one. Thanks to it, the planet was replenished with new life forms – mutants or descendants of the old fauna. New intelligent species also appeared on it.

Tribes of non-humans that appeared after the Apocalypse:

• Karkadanns are giant upright rhinoceroses, descendants of the common rhinoceros. They are herbivores, but very strong and ready to defend their property to the last. They control the only large source of water, with the help of which they grow huge vegetables.
• Anur are intelligent, frog-like, carnivorous amphibians. Able to dive harmlessly into Earth's toxic oceans and retrieve sunken treasures, this has made the Anur the wasteland's finest traders.
• The Incas are the most mysterious creatures of the new world. Humanoids, seemingly made of black liquid, and using bones as decoration. Recently, the Incas have begun to attack other creatures using the undead.

The camera in Sand: A Superfluous Game is located from above, opening the entire map to the user. Resources are scattered around the locations, which can and should be spent on upgrading the base. The player's headquarters is an important element of the gameplay, as the skills and quality of the protagonist's equipment depend on it. By default, the main character travels alone, but later it will be possible to invite 3 to 4 mobs to the team.
