Seed of the Dead – at first glance, a fairly standard dating simulator. The protagonist is a young man with an unclear face and long bangs who can court a group of girls. Among them is a mysterious person who behaves reservedly and coldly towards others. A mature and motherly caring student. A sarcastic and arrogant pop idol. And an optimistic, energetic girl who plays sports. What sets the project apart from a host of other games of a similar genre is that it takes place during a zombie apocalypse.

The game has a different design. The protagonist and the women he can have relationships with are depicted in 3D anime. All other heroes and zombies are in realistic 3D. Each woman available for romance has her own preferences – they should be taken into account if the gamer wants to bring the matter to bed. What may delight one heroine is indifferent or deeply unpleasant to others. But the gameplay is not limited to novels only. As in any self-respecting simulator of fighting the undead, here you can collect resources and build a base.

A lot depends on the quality of the protagonist's headquarters. For example, the number of things that can be taken on outings. It also makes sense to search locations in search of artifacts – among them there may be cartridges, missiles, medicines and other important things. If you couldn’t get a suitable item, you can purchase it from special merchants. In the store you can additionally purchase gifts to improve relationships with girls.

Seed of the Dead has 4 difficulty levels. From the easiest, best suited for beginners, to the hardcore. At the last difficulty level, there are not only more dangerous and tenacious enemies, but also more experience and useful items. Because of this, even on hardcore it is possible to create a pumped-up combat squad.
