SGS Operation Downfall – a turn-based strategy about the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, after which Japan announced its surrender. However, the plot takes us to an alternative reality and develops the theme of what would have happened if the Manhattan Project could not be carried out by the Americans. The operation consists of two parts: Olympic and Coronet. The events of the first develop in November 1945, and the second – at the beginning of 1946.

Battles between America and Japan take place both on land and in the air. SGS Operation Downfall features a huge variety of weapons. There are submarines called Kamikaze and Midget. Combat battles take place in various regions, the area of ​​which can reach up to 100 square miles. All maps have a unique landscape and interactive environment. Each scenario is allocated from 10 to 27 moves. During this time, you will need to gather an army and develop a battle strategy. Each opposing side takes turns making a move. You can go on the attack or take a deep defense.

There are infantry troops, heroic officers and a wide variety of military equipment. The third warring party is the Soviets, invading the island of Hokkaido. Here you will also need to engage in battle to recapture the northern islands. During battles, you can request air support or enlist the help of allied troops. Dozens of forks are spelled out, depending on both success on the battlefield and loss.
