There are different ways to destroy humanity. For example: trigger an ice age, spread a plague, summon volcanoes or snake gods that can devour entire cities. However, at first the creature, called She Who Will Feast, is quite weak. Therefore, users have to rely on their agents, of which there are 5 varieties, and cunning. At the same time, the world reacts to their actions.

Shadows of the Forbidden Gods is a global strategy game and an apocalypse simulator. The project is considered a continuation of the game Shadows Behind the Throne 2. The developers took all the best ideas from the sequel and refined them. The creators also abandoned the controversial elements of the previous part. They reworked some of these mechanics, and cut others. Events unfold on a global map that is divided into hexagons. It is necessary to achieve the goal in a limited number of moves. This game forces you to act secretly, since the forces of good have a numerical advantage. Plus, the Chosen One is fighting on their side. You can quarrel people among themselves, lure heroes to your side, provoke civil wars, engage in deception and bribery, and organize conspiracies.
