Shards of Gravity is a metroidvania with 2D pixel art and a side-mounted camera. The project contains RPG elements. A hybrid of action and platformer, it tells the story of the adventures of an adventurer. He travels through a mystical and partially open world in search of gravitational fragments. These are the names of artifacts that give their owners special powers, and also allow them to craft powerful weapons and enchant them. The map consists of 6 interconnected biomes. There are 20 power-ups, enchantments and weapons scattered throughout the locations. Upgrades allow you to strengthen your hero, create equipment for him, or upgrade his equipment. The indie title boasts a deep and extensive crafting system.

In Shards of Gravity, a character can run left and right, jump, and dash. By default, he attacks enemies with a giant blade. You can strike in the air while jumping. The gameplay and combat are reminiscent of Hollow Knight. The fighter will have to fight with 30 types of opponents. Among them there are also giant insects. As the adventurer progresses, he increases levels and receives points to improve his characteristics. The role-playing system allows you to build builds for different play styles. To be able to level up, you need to solve jump puzzles consisting of deadly traps and various obstacles. There are a total of 50 such challenges in this video game.
