The gameplay occurs within one night, during which the user has to protect the life of the protagonist from otherworldly creatures that live in this territory. They go hunting only at night, so the virtual protege did not immediately find them. The player needs to hide from the monsters and study the available locations inside the house and his immediate vicinity to collect the necessary items. The main task is to survive until the morning, without receiving deadly damage. The controlled character does not have self -defense means, only a flashlight at his disposal, which helps to consider the necessary things in the pitch darkness of a recently abandoned hut.
