Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments – a quest-adventure based on the original work by Conan Doyle. The player follows Holmes and his partner Dr. Watson. In some chapters, control is transferred to minor individuals. The gameplay has been slightly changed compared to previous parts.

The perspective changes between first and third person. Previously, the user was required to conduct an investigation about one big case. “Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments” adds dozens of small tasks, murders or crimes, solved in one or a couple of quick levels. Each mission invites gamers to explore a separate location, return between areas and interact with them. Moral choices will stand in the way, affecting further progress.

The Deductive Table has been redesigned. Now it looks in the style of the protagonist’s conclusions and reasoning. Thoughts are controlled and will help you operate with the available data and then draw logical conclusions. They will allow you to discover a clue or completely solve the case. The more impressions Sherlock receives from what he saw during the investigation, the more facts he will have.

The player can blame different people or justify them based on his own decisions. Once the verdict is passed, a new case begins. The gameplay allows you to return to your perfect choice and redo it. The presented missions for logical thinking are made in the style of mini-modes. The detective is able to examine the selected character (potential criminal) and draw additional conclusions about him. The “Imagination” skill depicts events that could happen to a certain object.
