Shogun: Total War – a global strategy that laid the foundation for the famous Total War franchise. The gameplay is divided into two parts: tactical and strategic. The player is able to observe the world map in a step-by-step manner and also move the army. When players encounter enemy units, the battle takes place in real time. Large-scale battles include hundreds and thousands of units simultaneously.

The event takes place in feudal Japan, and the user will take control of 1 of the 7 clans that existed during the Sengoku-Jidai period. The main objective in the story campaign is to achieve the title of Shogun. The project features a historical clash mode based on authentic battles in the real world. There is no strategic gameplay in this session; the gamer will only need to use tactical ones.

Before passing, you will need to select the clan you like. Each of them is located at a certain point on the map, has a different number of provinces under its control and the strength of the starting army. There is an 8th side to the conflict – ronins and rebels, but they cannot be controlled, however they will appear in battles. By capturing neutral or enemy provinces, the user opens up access to the construction of forts and watchtowers, increasing the loyalty of the population. Residents may go on strike or rebel if you go against them, which will create further problems.
