Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth is a new part of the famous series with elements of city planning and survival. The player will have to distribute resources, build a full-fledged infrastructure, take care of the well-being and health of each resident in difficult and limited conditions. It is necessary to adjust the supply as soon as possible, otherwise there will be a disaster.

Humanity has experienced a total collapse. Now the Earth is unsuitable for habitation, and all people were forced to leave it on spaceships in search of a new home. Research expeditions began to settle in places with suitable oxygen levels and climate. The colony that survives the longest will become the founder of a new era. The protagonist lands on a given surface and takes upon himself all matters of organization and leadership.

• Tau Ceti is very similar to Earth, an abundance of resources and living creatures, which will become the main problem, because there are both harmless creatures and dangerous toothy predators
• Mu Altar – revolves around a dim star, one of its sides is in the eternal scorching sun and has turned into a desert, while the other is covered with ice and permafrost
• Eridani 82 – scarce water resources and constant tectonic disasters, earthquakes, but is otherwise stable and has vegetation that has learned to survive with a minimum of moisture or store it in itself
• This Chanterelle is mysterious, unknown, unstudied, there is no information about it at all, since it was discovered only from afar, it has a complex and unpredictable landscape

Depending on which planet was chosen, the degree of difficulty and equipment that will be needed for a good life will change. Some places need defensive structures from the local population, others need surface stabilizers and stronger houses. The main thing is to place all bases nearby with the necessary resources, especially water ones.
