SIGNALIS may please fans of classic survival horror games. This title imitates the cult horror films from the fifth generation consoles. The story is dedicated to the adventures of a heroine named Replika Elster. One day, the starship she was on crashed on a snowy planet. The girl technician came to her senses and found no living people on board. She went in search of surviving crew members and accidentally stumbled upon a forced labor camp that was underground and abandoned. The plot is presented through hand-drawn anime cut scenes, and the lore is revealed through numerous notes.

SIGNALIS uses 2D graphics. It is made in pixel art style. The camera is located on the side and slightly above. The heroine can run in different directions, read diaries, use objects and weapons.
