SiN Episodes: Emergence is an action shooter with a first-person view, which uses a cyberpunk setting mixed with the distant future. The single-player campaign takes place in a huge city called Freeport. When creating it, the developers were inspired by three real cities at once – San Francisco, Tokyo and New York. It is filled with all sorts of environmental details that speak of its futurism and make it stand out from other settlements in various games.

The main character of the game is the commander of the elite security service “HardCorps”, which works for the benefit of local residents – John Blade. The man could not put up with the insidious plans of the antagonist named Elexis Sinclair, who, despite her defeat 4 years ago, did not lose strength. Her plan remained unchanged – to change people at the genome level and produce superhumans without flaws. For this purpose, hundreds of people were tortured through various experiments. Therefore, the protagonist opposes the Elexis soldiers – employees of the SiNTEK corporation.

JC and Jessica Cannon will help the virtual protégé to provide all possible assistance in the process of destroying enemies and trying to eliminate Sinclair. The first is a skilled hacker who owns all modern technologies and has a dark past, which the gamer will learn more about during the course of the game. The girl is new to warfare, but knows how to find a way out of any situation and sneak into the most protected places undetected.
