Singularity – a first-person shooter in which the gamer gets the opportunity to control time using the MVP – a mobile time converter. This device has many uses, and all of them are used to pass certain moments, as well as to destroy enemy soldiers. The graphic design of the project is quite modern and of high quality due to the use of an engine called “Unreal Engine 3”. With its help, the game depicts large-scale special effects that accompany the process of destruction of time and its consequences.

Throughout the single-player campaign, the gamer will visit various locations in two timelines – Russia in the 1950s and its modern version. Events take place on the remote island of Katorga-12, where there was a secret laboratory where dangerous experiments were carried out on Element E-99. An experiment that got out of control created many man-made disasters on the archipelago, which killed almost all its inhabitants and turned the survivors into disfigured mutants. They add a horror atmosphere to the game, because most often monsters attack suddenly and from behind.

Abilities that MVP Nathaniel Renko gives:

• Impulse – throws away objects and enemies.
• Freezing – a sphere is created around the protagonist, inside it the flow of time is greatly slowed down.
• Gravity – helps you lift and throw heavy things.
• Return in time – used on the enemy and creates a mutant from him with poisonous attacks, which attacks both the protégé himself and everyone else in the radius of visibility.
• Chronoscanning – suggests the location of any important objects, and also reveals chronotraces.
• Age – affects the selected object and changes its structure, rejuvenating or aging in order to be able to move further around the location.
