IN Sinking Island A policeman sets out to solve a mysterious crime, for which he goes to a mysterious island. Here the hero of the quest, which is based on the plot of Benoit Sokal, receives various evidence, interviews witnesses, looks for photographs, from which he puts together a picture of the crime. At the center of the story is a mysterious island on which a hotel for rich people is built. The place is colorful and protected from various troubles, but one day the owner of the hotel is found dead, and the island itself quickly begins to sink. The gamer has 72 hours at his disposal, during which he needs to investigate the circumstances of the death and save himself. The area will be completely submerged and the evidence will disappear if the player does not make it in time.

At the start, the user is asked to choose a manner of passage, where a time limit is activated or no action of a kind of countdown timer. The user must solve riddles one by one, each of which is also given a separate period of time. If the user does not have time to invest in the specified time, his boss removes him from the case, so he will have to go through some parts again. The plot itself develops steadily, so gradually some characters, evidence and locations become inaccessible.
