Sledgehammer/Gear Grinder is a racing simulator that offers the player the opportunity to drive at high speeds, using the full power of huge trucks. The gamer will have unlimited scope for customizing his own vehicle – from appearance and size to weapons mounted on the body. It is possible to install a heavy machine gun, a rocket launcher, spikes on the front bumper, turbines for acceleration and much more. The project was created for entertainment and pleasure from total destruction, which can be caused by a gigantic truck. There is gamepad support for controlling the multi-ton colossus.

The game has two modes – racing and combat. They differ in their tasks. In the first you need to win through speed, the second allows you to destroy everyone and remain the last survivor, who does not need to show the highest driving speed. It is now possible to switch the camera view when you are inside the truck or slightly behind it. Between missions, while in the garage, it is important to wisely distribute the local currency received, because upgrading the characteristics of the engine or weapon can seriously help in the race. There is an online mode for racing with random people from all over the world or with your own friends on personal servers.
