SNKRX is a hybrid of a simplified roguelike and a top-down shooter. The indie game also contains elements of an autobattler. The gameplay is based on a game called “Snake”. In this title, the user controls a convoy of heroes, where the fighters closely follow one another. The player can only control the direction of movement of this “locomotive” (without the ability to stop) and hire characters, increasing its length. And adventurers are already attacking opponents on their own. The project has rather minimalistic graphics, so the adventurers are depicted in the form of squares of different colors. The point of the gameplay is not only to fight with enemies, but also to find suitable combinations of fighters.

SNKRX has Scouts, Clerics, Wizards, Gunners, Plague Doctors, Swordsmen, Archers and other classes. They can shoot multi-colored projectiles at enemies and use various abilities, such as healing allies or placing curses on adversaries. As a reward for clearing arenas, you are given gold, which is necessary to purchase new heroes. It is possible to update or expand the composition of the party only during breaks between stages. You can combine members of the same profession to gain access to class bonuses. The more often a user hires the same specialists, the stronger they become. Every few rounds, the user is asked to choose one of several buffs for his group. This video game has 12 combat specialties, 25 difficulty types, 40 types of heroes and the same number of items that impose passive effects.
