IN SONG OF HORROR Most of the time will have to be spent exploring the frightening mansion, which hides not only secrets and its skeletons in the closet, but also real horrors waiting for someone to fall into their tenacious clutches. The game is made in the style of the first Resident Evil, which is reflected not only in the fixed camera, but also in the manner of storytelling, scattered puzzles and a tense atmosphere. Only single-player mode is presented, without difficulty selection.

The narrative in SONG OF HORROR is divided into five acts, developing in different locations, during which the main character, Daniel Noyer (a former loser with alcohol addiction, his wife had previously left him, and was fired from his job for drunkenness) investigates the disappearance of a travel writer, immediately after he began to listen and understand the essence of the mysterious melody. Having searched the whole house, in search of it, a light melody is heard, and following its sound, a strange door opens, leading somewhere deep into the house.

There are several characters to choose from in each episode: Daniel's ex-wife, who, despite everything, begins to worry about her ex-husband, his boss, concerned about the absence of his employee, and the caretaker of the mystical house. Each of them has four ability scores: speed, strength, stealth and calm. Depending on the choice of the protagonist, events will unfold differently, even each person has their own light source (flashlight, candle) and is endless, no need to change batteries. The opponents are varied, represented by evil spirits, but the most fascinating is the Presence. He follows the protagonist everywhere, forcing him to listen to every door before opening it. You can't kill him, you can only escape.
