Songs of Syx is a construction simulator. Here the process of creating cities and the situation on the planet is realistically reproduced thanks to the changing time of day, seasons of the year, dynamically changing weather with various atmospheric phenomena, migration of residents and even organized crime. Starting from a small settlement, the user progresses through the mission to create his own kingdom. The manager has at his disposal numerous villages, cities, ports and other infrastructure facilities.

In Songs of Syx, in addition to the protagonist's possessions, neighboring competing empires are consistently developing. You can either be in neutral relations with representatives, conduct trade, conclude diplomatic treaties, or enter into open military conflicts. Often confrontations reach significant proportions. Several tens of thousands of soldiers can take part in battles at the same time. In the future, it is planned to expand the capabilities of players and introduce additional conditions that will complicate development. Among them are the slave system, class and racial characteristics, diseases and the organization of health care.
