Sci-fi setting in Space Gladiator demonstrates the adventures of the hero on a small spaceship that will cut through the expanses of the unknown Galaxy. Gamers will have to take control of a nimble fighter, choosing among a variety of protagonists the desired fighter-pilot, who has his own skills and special abilities that help during battles. The game has a retro design with old-school pixel graphics.

The protagonists in Space Gladiator are forced to fight on the front lines, serving as elite pilots. You'll have to control small flying vehicles from above, moving around the map and destroying your opponents. The enemies will be foreign ships, military stations and turrets that guard the approaches to secret objects. The main task for players is to eliminate the enemy in order to score the most points.

The gameplay component represents classic shooter mechanics, where it is important to evade enemy attacks and make accurate shots. The ship carries different types of weapons on board, which depend on the chosen hero. The single-player campaign consists of alternating arcade levels where you need to set high scores, earning bonus points for the number of enemy units eliminated during the challenge. For each mission you will have to work out a strategy based on the situation on the battlefield.
