Each mission in Space Hulk is endowed with a specific goal, and most often the gamer will need to get from the landing zone to a certain point on the map, hold a certain amount of time, look for lost artifacts or evacuate the wounded. The task of enemies, that is, genocles, is not to allow people to achieve the desired result. In total, the campaign consists of 12 missions that are not interconnected. Each task is preceded by a briefing, where the player is put on business and explain the current situation. The movement of units occurs by strokes on cell marking. At the same time, oddly enough, a lot depends on the accidents. This means that even with perfect layouts and the optimal construction of soldiers, everything can end in the defeat of literally two movements. And all because the points of actions provided to users are given in a random order for each move. Therefore, if in the first segment the troops managed to rebuild and occupy convenient positions, it is far from the fact that this alignment will happen again the next time.
