However, the path turned out to be not as easy as it seemed initially and many unexpected turns await the friends. The gameplay consists of puzzles where you need to collect items for the inhabitants of Bikini Bottom. The inventory is stored in a special antique chest. All objects located there can interact with each other to help further progress. A nice bonus will be animated videos that open after completing certain stages. Thematically, the gameplay is divided into several parts.

• Immediately after receiving the tickets, SpongeBob learns from the visitor how to get to his dream place. Then, together with Patrick, they will go to the local beach to search for the Flying Dutchman's treasure. After much effort, they succeed and board the right bus.

It is impossible to continue the journey, as weather conditions are not expected to change. Having found out the reason, the characters go to Marlin to stop the rain. However, the bus leaves without their friends, leaving them to fend for themselves.
• Back home, SpongeBob and Patrick decide to use the rocket Sandy built. But for this you also need to pass a series of tests. Even turning to Squidward for help, they manage to prepare for the flight. But at the last moment everything does not go according to plan.
• The team suffers another crash. To continue the journey, you need to fix all the problems and refill the oxygen cylinders. Only after completing all the tasks did the heroes finally reach Neptune's Paradise and were able to enjoy their vacation.
