Spyro The Dragon is a remake of the classic game that started the whole series. It retained the same plot and mechanics, but significantly improved the graphics with updated textures. There are no longer angular characters and plants made from geometric shapes, because they have all acquired smoother and more detailed features.

One day, a certain Gnasty appeared in the Kingdom of Dragons. This creature was part dwarf and part orc, which greatly amused everyone, considering its appearance. There were rumors about him that he began to improve in magic and could even turn stone into his loyal warriors, which excited particularly restless citizens. To reassure them, a live interview was conducted with one of the honorary masters. He assured everyone that there was nothing to fear and actually showered the enemy with insults and belittled his dignity. Gnorg could not tolerate this and, out of anger, turned all the inhabitants of the country into stone statues. This curse did not affect only Spyro, because, unlike his relatives, he was very small in size. And now the protagonist is the only one who can stop the magician and return everyone to their previous state.

In Spyro the Dragon, the user will go on a full-fledged journey through the magical world. There he will perform various tasks, do flight tests and fight enemies with the help of his flame. Despite his size, the hero has great courage and fortitude, therefore, for the sake of his family, he is ready to challenge the evil wizard and eliminate the threat forever.
