Star Control 3 – The third part of the series of the same name, where the emphasis is on the plot. Here, the user finds himself in an expanded version of the already created universe, where more space stations, ships, as well as new planets and races inhabiting them appeared.

After the destruction of the stronghold of the forerunner called the “SA-Matra”, one of the crew members comes a vision of the upcoming destruction of the entire universe. Soon these fears are confirmed by the appearance of an unknown sinister force that came to the Galaxy with the war. Returning to the orbit of the planet UNZERVALT, the protagonist is building shuttle and tries to warn everyone in the galaxy about the impending threat. The main task is to convince various warring races to unite against the only enemy and give him together a rebuff. The player can use space hyper-jumping, but they require a large resource consumption that can be obtained at colonized objects. In the course of one battle, you can use 25 different types of shutters, which is worth choosing thoughtfully, based on a selected combat strategy. The more representatives of different races are present on the battlefield, the more variable tactics are possible. Thanks to strategic elements, Gamer is able to solve certain problems not only through flotillas, but also diplomatic. Such actions contribute to the preservation of trust and valuable resources.
