Star Shift Origins – the story of a team of fighters who find themselves in an alternative universe. Fleeing from the Earth Systems Alliance, they will search for answers and a way home. The gameplay is based on exploring multiple locations and endless space, completing tasks along the way. This is the only way to advance further along the main storyline. The project is designed as a classic pixel RPG with turn-based battles that introduce a tactical component.

Star Shift Origins offers great opportunities and variability:

• When developing your own tactics in battle with different opponents, you will have to take into account the characteristics of each opponent.
• Maintaining balance in the squad, as each fighter has his own abilities.
• Leveling up characters with an increase in individual characteristics and the gradual acquisition of new skills.
• A well-thought-out plot, filled with twists and unexpected details, capable of captivating you for a long time.
• Non-linearity – the squad's path and ending depend on the choices made at certain moments.

The experience system is built in a standard way – it is earned in battle or after completing the next quest. Battles take place in 2 modes, in each case the player is given a certain number of combat units to command. Only in one version these are characters, and in the other you will have to control a small space fleet. Thus, the maximum participation of the gamer in the development of the storyline is realized.
