Main action Star Trek: The Game takes place in an alternate universe timeline. The crew of the USS Enterprise spaceship receives a distress signal. It comes from a station that receives stellar energy flows. Realizing that the situation requires immediate intervention, Spock and Kirk immediately board the shuttle and set off to evacuate the crew. It soon turns out that there was a rupture in space due to a terrible accident and error. The station was attacked by alien Gorns, who brought a strange virus with them. It infects the employees with a virus, which makes them unable to control their aggression. It is possible to try to bring them back to life and stop the progression of the disease, but will it really be possible to do this?

The main characters of Star Trek: The Game understand that the Gorns have stolen Helios, a device for terraforming the planet New Vulcan.
