STAR WARS Episode 1 Racer is based on a racing sequence from the first part of the famous Star Wars universe. There, the heroes competed in the skill of riding pods – a special flying vehicle that can reach very high speeds. And the player can also pilot such a device.

There is no linear narrative in the game, since everything is focused specifically on the pod control simulator. The user can select one of the racers who actually participated in the film's race. This does not provide any particular advantages, so the choice is based only on personal external preferences. You can strengthen your equipment or improve parts for a special currency. An accelerator is installed inside each engine, the use of which increases the internal temperature. If it reaches a critical value, a breakdown may occur, which will put the sub-racer out of action for some time. To repair, you can use automatic repair, but the speed gained will be lost, and rivals will have time to get around the main character.

• Tournament – race with artificial intelligence, as you complete levels you can earn special points and spend them on improving the pod, as well as unlock new tracks and characters
• Single race – does not give any rewards and is completely customizable, you can completely remove all opponents and go through certain locations for a personal best
• For two – allows you to play online with a friend and add computer opponents for more interest
• Multiplayer – competition with other users (up to 8 people) online

This game is perfect for both fans of the franchise in general and fans of atypical racing competitions. Races take place at the most famous locations from the cinematic universe, like Tatooine. It is worth noting the well-developed physics, because the aircraft when turning can tilt strongly to the side or even leave the distance if you do not maintain control.
