Stories Untold is a kind of collection of small projects demonstrating radically different concepts in terms of plot and game mechanics. All the games presented here are united by an eerie atmosphere, as well as a spirit of nostalgia for the 80s. This is conveyed through the visual style, the setting of the locations and other minor things that refer to those times. It is worth understanding that there will be no screamers, sudden appearances of monsters or anything like that. The very fact of the player’s presence in a particular story already makes you nervous, which is why every next step is taken with extreme caution.

Each part in Stories Untold comes with its own unique mechanics, based on interacting with the environment, performing specific actions, or solving puzzles. For example, in the first story, the character is sitting at the computer alone. Text messages appear on the screen, which subsequently form a complete story. At certain moments provided by the system, the gamer needs to enter answers to existing remarks in the line. For example, the story is about a man who arrives at his family's country house, but before he gets out of the car, he needs to find the key. And if at this moment you write the phrase “inspect the glove compartment” in the window, the hero will do just that. Such mechanics are retained only in this story, and the other three will show completely new concepts with a different approach to the passage.
